Argentine Dam is on North Ore Creek in Genesee County, Michigan and is used for flood control, among other things. Construction was completed in 1929. Its normal surface area is 416 acres. It is owned by Argentine Township.



Argentine Dam is of earthen construction, a gravity dam. Its height is 18 feet with a length of 280 feet. Maximum discharge is 1200 cubic feet per second. Its capacity is 35000 acre feet. Normal storage is 30000 acre feet. It drains an area of 92 square miles.
