This beach is popular for swimming as it is usually warmer and less windy than other state beaches in the county. But the weather can always be changeable and foggy, so bring warm layers.
Although it is a state park, there is no gate or entrance fee. The coords listed are near a park sign at the foot of 7th Avenue, which is one of the main pedestrian entrances to the eastern end of Twin Lakes.
There is a restroom with showers and foot-rinse station nearby. There are no picnic tables or barbecue grills but there are a dozen fire rings on the sand, and bonfires are allowed in the rings if you bring your own wood.
Type of beach: Natural

Location of beach: Seashore
