All Saints Parish Church Oakham, situated right in the heart of the town, is the largest Church in England's smallest county.
The church has a 14th century tower of five stages and a 'needle' spire which is 162 feet high. Although the oldest part of the church dates from around 1190, other parts were added in the 13th, 14th, and 15th centuries, with a Victorian restoration in the 1850s.
