This time capsule was originally buried in Ulmer Park in Largo on July 4, 1976. The area was renovated and the time capsule was moved to its current location. The girl scouts, celebrating Pioneer Days, in Ulmer Park along with Largo's Bicentennial celebration helped put items inside the time capsule. Approximately 700 people placed articles inside during the day of the celebration.
The time capsule can be found in Largo Central Park, 101 Central Park Drive, Largo, FL 33771. There's another time capsule nearby.
