The town of York is blessed to have 4 beautiful beaches. The largest being Long Sands beach. Harbor Beach is small and caters to its nearby summer dwellers. Cape Neddick beach is near an ocean front campground and caters mostly to them. Short Sands is the second largest and is located at the main commercial sector of the town. A zoo and amusement park is within walking distance. Shops, restaurants, arcades and lodging are all nearby. I think it is one of the nicest beaches in York. The fact that I have had a home overlooking the beach for over 20 years has not clouded my judgement!!
The coordinates are taken from a parking space nearest the beach in the lot at a point about in the center of the beach.
