You can find the monument on the grounds of the Veterans Administration Center. It is located at the entrance to the cemetery grounds. This property is open to the public. The cemetery is open from dawn to dusk. The War Veterans Memorial Park is located next to this property.
Pink Etowah Marble - A pink marble with shades of darker colors quarried near Tate, Georgia. Etowah marble ranges in color from a pale salmon to a deep rose. It polishes to a high gloss. Etowah Pink marble is a variety that has greenish-black veins.
