A granite stele carved in relief with a standing figure of a male soldier symbolizing a captured prisoner of war, surrounded by a lightly etched image of barbed wire. He is not dressed in uniform, but wears prison attire, with sandals on his feet, his arms at his sides, his left hand clenched in a fist, his right hand open with the palm facing down, and his head turned to the right. The soldier stands on the left side of the stele, which is inscribed on the right with an inscription honoring all prisoners of war and those missing in action.
