The Cove is the most naturalized beach on the Cape May Shoreline. Once through the entrance there are no more hotels, arcades, or parked cars. You may run into a variety of shore birds, or sand crabs. Parts of this beach are even home to endangered birds, so bring your binoculars! Normal beach activities like sunbathing, swimming, surfing, and fresbee are allowed, just keep a look out for signs regarding nesting birds. These small areas are usually in the dunes, and wouldn't disrupt any beach activities anyway. In the distance you can see the Cape May Point Lighthouse, in Cape May Point, NJ. There is nothing like spending a day on the beach with that kind of view!!
