George Herbert Walker Bush was born on June 12, 1924. He served as the forty-first President of the United States from 1989 to 1993.

George H.W. Bush was born in Milton, Massachusetts to Senator Prescott Bush and Dorothy Walker Bush. He first ran as a nominee for the office of President in 1980 and was defeated by Ronald Reagan but was chosen to be the vice-presidential nominee.
