The Ronald McDonald House Near Loyola is a haven for families of children undergoing treatment for serious illnesses or injuries at Loyola and other hospitals in the Chicagoland area, particularly those in the western suburbs. The House is open to families with children who are hospitalized and also to those whose children are being treated as outpatients. Opened in July of 1995, it has served over 6,500 families. The House is 39,000 sq. feet, with 18 bedrooms, and 14 bathrooms.
This mansion has been furnished and decorated based on the theme of the Secret Garden book, written, by Frances Hodgson Burnett. The house offers guests:

NOTE: Because the house is on federal property, photos of buildings on federal property are not allowed w/o permission, which is too much hassle to get. I was allowed to keep the posted photos I took of closeups of signs, but not allowed to keep the pic I took of the building. So I had to borrow one, plus I posted a Google maps aerial instead.
