RECOVERY NOTE BY NATIONAL GEODETIC SURVEY 1987 RECOVERED IN GOOD CONDITION, A NEW DESCRIPTION FOLLOWS. 15.9 KM (9.90 MI) NORTHWESTERLY ALONG U.S. HIGHWAY 20 FROM ITS JUNCTION WITH FIR STREET IN SISTERS, 82.0 M (269.0 FT) NORTHWEST OF THE CENTERLINE OF GEO. MCALLISTER ROAD LEADING NORTH TO CAMP SHERMAN, 48.5 M (159.1 FT) SOUTHEAST OF THE JEFFERSON COUNTY LINE SIGN POST, 38.7 M (127.0 FT) SOUTHEAST OF BENCH MARK 426 BPR, AND 28.6 M (93.8 FT) NORTHEAST OF THE CENTER OF THE HIGHWAY. THE MARK IS 0.3 METERS SW FROM A WITNESS POST THE MARK IS ABOVE LEVEL WITH THE HIGHWAY.
