This trail is currently 7.25 miles long. Eventually, it will extend seven to eight more miles, connecting to the 41-mile Suncoast Trail. The original section winds through suburban Citrus Park on an unused railroad corridor.
The trails allow biking, walking, skating, jogging and horseback riding. You will find water boxes along the trail and restrooms at 3 of the 5 trailheads. The layout of the trail includes overpasses, underpasses and bridges. There is even a little shade here and there, which is very important in the Florida sun! And, for those so inclined, there are quite a few geocaches waiting to be found.
These coords were taken at the Wilsky Boulevard Trailhead 10314 Wilsky Blvd.
