Long Description:
The Globe Village Fire House was built in 1894 to serve the Globe Village area of Southbridge, area area predominated by textile mills. The brick building is in a Colonial Revival style. The building no longer serves as a fire station and for a time it served as a club house for an organization but now has been converted to a maintenance garage for the local school district.
