Long Description:
The Alden--Delahanty Block was built in 1878. The brick building is in in a High Victorian Gothic style. William E. Alden had this building constructed to accommodate his dry goods business. Later the building was used by the J.J. Delahanty company as a furniture store for many years with the store's signage still remaining on the building. The building was vacant for a period year before recently being renovated and now has a restaurant on the first floor and a dance studio above.
