Church in East Douglas built in 1834 as a breakway from the First Congregational Church Of Douglas. As Douglas' center grew more in East Douglas rather than Douglas Center the church population voted for a new church to be built. This church was to be located in the then booming mill village of East Douglas. The present church is the effect of a population shift in a small industrial town.
