Blue Hills Reservation is a large, wooded park with literally thousands of acres. Many trails criss-cross the park, and due to that, there are many intersections that all look similar to one another. These intersections have numbered signs. But if you don't have a map, then this is likely of little help.
Fortunately, at major trailheads and many of the major trail intersections there are the kiosks with maps, as well as announcements for park events and activities. This particular kiosk is at a parking lot by the Trailside Museum at the Canton-Milton town line. This parking lot is easily accessible from Route 138 and is less than a mile from the intersection of Rte. 138 and I-93.
