Nestled in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains, Sequoyah Council serves the youth in the fifteen and a half counties of Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia. The scouting program is provided by over three thousand adult leaders to more than ten thousand youth in 420 units.
This new service center/headquarters was built a few years ago replacing extremely tight quarters in Johnson City. The building is named after Bruce and Mary Cunningham for their 89 years of combined service (and likely a sizable check) who I know through the TN Eastman Hiking Club. Fine folks.
