This Civil War Memorial is located in a small park along with memorials for several other wars. The front of the memorial contains a Civil War scene and the inscription:
"The War Between the States/A Family Struggle That/Reunited The Nation"
The back of the monument is engraved with the words to "A Tribute To Our Fallen Heroes", a hymn by William Valentine.
