Hills and Dales is an awesome Texas-style icehouse. They have 53 beers on tap and 100's more in bottles. It is a popular hangout with UTSA college kids, bikers, and smatterings of every other social grouping. You can pay a fee and get a card that gets punched for each of the draft beers you drink. When you are finished you get a small plaque on the bar. The second card gets you another small plaque on bar. The subsequent cards will get you larger plaques on the ceiling. This is all called "The Hall of Foam". You can also have your personal mug stored on a hook behind the bar. There is live music some evenings. Pool and darts are always waiting to be played, and the outdoor patio is a great place to waste an afternoon.
