This tank is parked in the Village of Whitney Point, NY near a local Legion Post and county fairgrounds.
After suffering years of neglect and abuse, the M60 MBT was restored and repainted by members of American Legion Post 974 in Whitney Point.
It was moved several hunderd yards to near the entrance to the fairgrounds. It is now surrounded by a low chainlink fence with an access gate, and also has an information marker.
The marker reads:

Main armament; 105 mm(4.1 in) M68 Main Gun
