The old B&O Railroad depot stands at the northeast corner of Middlefield Historical Society's property. The original depot was built in 1874 and later destroyed by fire. It was rebuilt in 1910 and is now an ice cream store.
The Depot features an authentic old-fashioned soda fountain serving hand-dipped ice cream treats. There is also a caboose car adjacent to the depot. It is authentic and formerly plied the local tracks as part of the Baltimore & Ohio trains.
