Catawba Science Center - a hands-on museum offering excitement and learning for all ages.
This center is a permanent exhibit that has areas to explore the Physical, Natural and Earth Sciences, while interesting traveling exhibits rotate throughout the year.
Freshwater and saltwater aquarium – featuring North Carolina’s only marine touch pool with LIVE sharks and stingrays -- offer exciting hands-on learning experiences.
The Millholland Planetarium features digital presentations, astronomy talks and laser shows in a surround sound format. Located on the SALT Block in Hickory, CSC also provides a variety of educational and fun programming for school groups, children, families, adults, homeschoolers, preschoolers, scouts and other community groups.
