These botanical gardens are located in T.H. Broyhill Walking Park at 945 Lakewood Street SW just off Norwood Street. There is a golf course near by so there is a lot of traffic here.

With roughly 20 acres, this park is most commonly known as the "Walking Park. The park provides a paved loop (approximately .43 of a mile) winds around a lovely lake surrounded with flowers and trees from all countries.
There is one section that is our favorite, which is a Japanese style garden complete with pagodas and native shrubs.
Through the entire area you see blooming flowers, trees, shrubs and bushes year round. They have an amazing variety of native and imported plants here. We have seen quite a bit of wild life on our many visits here.
