Pula is primarily a tourist destination. Pula residents often use the train to go other places to find work.

The station itself has a very Mediteranean look in the design and colors. The station is just a short distance from the water.

The Pula Guide (visit link) tells us:
Pula station is the last stop on the Pula-Buzet line. Connections to the rest of the country and onto Europe can be made by changing at Lupoglav station which is 1 1/2 hours from Pula
