 Description of Memorial: In a flower laden corner of the courthouse lawn, sitting on a concrete pad, rises this polished black marble monument. Not very tall, and not very large. Text to a minimum.
Was looking for Simon Bolivar's statue and the state historical marker. Thought they would be on the courthouse lawn, they were not. But this monument and a large doughboy statue was.
