Starting in 1999, the St. Louis Brewery, makers of Schlafly brand beer have held a beer festival every year on the second Saturday in September. The brewery makes around 40 different beers throughout the year and cellars a keg or two of each one for this event. The entry fee gets you a glass and tasting guide so that you can sample any or all the beers offered. The festival also offers live music and a variety of foods to round out the experience.
