This cenotaph is located at the Brampton Civic Centre. Free parking can be found on Wellington a couple blocks east of here. The monument is a prominent feature that can easily be seen from the City Hall, Gage Park or the nearby Peel Heritage Complex.
On the sides of the monument are the names of battles that the men of Brampton have served in. At the front is a dedication:
"TO PERPETUATE THE MEMORY OF OUR GLORIOUS DEAD AND TO GRATEFULLY RECOGNIZE THE SACRIFICE OF THE MEN OF BRAMPTON IN THE GREAT WAR 1914-1918 AND 1939-1945 KOREA 1950-1953"
