The mural shows how Grand Island looked in the early 1900s on 3rd Street, the main street through town. This might have been a Saturday and everyone had come to town for the day. It was created by Greg Holdren, with assistance from Maureen and Lizzie Holdren. It was presented by: Moonshell Arts and Humanities Council and the Downtown Business Improvement District. It shows original stores and the exact locations they used to be on Third street.
