 Description of Memorial: Once was entire 14 acre park, with markers at the main entrance. Four column entrance, with small outside ball topped outside columns flanking the sidewalk entrances and the two large columns flanking the driven entrances.
The main entrance. Teaman Dr. entrance and Lake Shore Dr. entrances now take you to the interior of the park. This entrance primarily now serves the playground area.
The left column is the honor roll of World War I and the right column is now the World War II Honor Roll.
The park now houses the Outdoor aquatic complex with an Olympic size stainless steel swimming pool and leisure pool, civic center, 1 lighted pavilion, lighted baseball diamond, concession stand, picnic areas, playground equipment and restroom facilities.
