The UC Botanical garden was originally established in 1890 near Doe Library on the main campus. It has since moved uphill from the campus and now consists of 34 acres of landscaped hillside with over 12,000 plants from around the world.
The garden regularly holds plant sales with rare and beautiful plants propagated on site. A gift shop on site has an ongoing sale as well as garden supplies and books.
See the
U.C. Botanical Garden's website, for more information about hours, directions, and special events.
