This marker is located near the road behind some mailboxes.

We found it while removing the nearby fence row.

It is in good condition, but it appears to have been hit with a lawn mower or similar over the years since it was set in 1935.

I couldn't read the elevation on the benchmark itself, but the topographical map says that it is 1118 feet above sea level.
