Two gargoyles, each holding a shield emblazoned with the initials for Edward Waters College, stand on ledges above the rear entrance to the Lee-Cousins Administration Building (formerly known as the Benjamin F. Lee Building). This building was constructed in 1925.
One of the gargoyles is a lightly weathered but intact; the other is also a lightly weathered but appears to have been broken and is missing part of its head.
