The plaque on the side of the building, facing the intersection of Fletcher Street, Hill Street, and Douglas Road in Whitinsville, reads:
"The Brick Mill
"ca. 1826
"Built by Col. Paul Whitin, Sr.
"on the site of the old forge
"built c.1772 by Col. James Fletcher"
The mill is part of a beautifully restored factory complex that is being used both as a residential and a commercial location.

Visit Instructions:
When logging a Massachusetts Historic Marker, we ask that you not only describe your visit, but to upload a picture from it. The picture does not have to be of the marker - one picture of the marker is enough. But a photo of you standing next to the marker or a photograph the subject of the marker - those are examples of possible photographs to upload.
