Dealey Plaza - Dallas, TX - Infamous Crime Scenes on Waymarking.com

Near Dealey Plaza, President John F. Kennedy was shot as his motorcade entered Dallas on November 22,1963. The subsequent interview with witnesses provided conflicting information to this day still generates controversy. Within this area, are the Texas Schoolbook Depository and the Grassy Knoll, two places that were prominent in the investigation.

This plaza area has been added to the National Register of Historic Places in an effort to preserve the look and feel of the area as it was in 1963.
