This is a linear, 7.2 hectare, off-leash dog park. It's popular for its Okanagan Lake beach access; not only for dogs but also nude sunbathers. The terrain is relatively flat with about 20 parking spots. Bring a lunch because there are cement picnic tables and benches. Site contains many mature trees so you can find a patch of shade.

Many thanks to the Okanagan Dog Owners Association for maintaining this site.

Posted rules:

1. Open to ALL members of the public. Nudity at this beach is neither permitted or condoned by the City of Kelowna and may be subject to persecution. Acts of gross indecency WILL be prosecuted.

2. Must have valid dog license.

3. Must pick up after dog.

4. Must keep dogs under control at all times. Out of control dogs must be on a leash.

5. Dogs not allowed 10 meters from playground equipment.

6. No horses, fires or motorbikes

A maximum fine of $500 can be levied against any person not complying with these responsibilities. Call Dog Control at 860-9322 or Bylaw Enforcement at 862-3361 to report infractions. (It’s helpful to provide a vehicle license plate number.)
