"Our Confederate Soldiers"
A uniformed Civil War soldier stands at parade rest. He wears a hat and holds the barrel of a rifle with both hands, with the butt resting by his feet. The soldier stands atop a tall shaft, which sits on a tiered, stepped base with reliefs and inscriptions. Included on the base are the GAR insignia and reliefs of a cannon, a flag, and crossed swords.
Dedicated to the United Confederate Volunteers by the United Daughters of the Confederacy. The plaque "Lest We Forget" lists both the Soldiers Killed in Action and Died in Service.
