"Es un edificio independiente especialmente dedicado a la astronomía. En él se aloja un Telescopio Steavenson de 75 cm. de espejo, y más de tres toneladas de peso, donado por el Instituto de Astrofísica de Andalucía. El Observatorio puede visitarse con un guía en sesiones de mañana y tarde. También se realizan sesiones de observación nocturna con grupos reducidos. El observatorio es también utilizado para realizar cursos de astronomía a aficionados."
"It is an independent building especially dedicated to the astronomy. In it a Telescope is lodged Steavenson of 75 cm. of mirror, and more than three tons of weight, donated by the Institute of Astrophysics of Andalusia. The Observatory can be visited with a guide in sessions of tomorrow and late. Also sessions of nocturnal observation with groups reduced are carried out. The observatory is also utilized to carry out courses of astronomy to fans."

The observatory is open to the public every day, so that they can see the telescope. Then it is open on special occasions for night viewing. They also encourage you to go visit the planetarium. A wonderful place to visit!
