Translation:
To Thank those fallen in the German occupation, the people or Peroj are erecting this monument.
In the middle of town, across from the old church, is a stone memorial inscribed in Cyrillic with the names of the locals that were killed during the German occupation of WW II. I believe the red star represents that they were a communist country.
A fence surrounds the marker, and blooming plants and flowers are out all summer. It is well cared for.
