The Port of St. Louis at one time was an extremely busy port with both passenger and freight boats docking. Now there are barges and only an occasional cruise ship.

The ship in port the day I visited was the American Queen which has a length of 418' and a width of 89'. The ship has 222 staterooms and operates with a crew of 160. The ship is operated by Majestic America Lines. The ship was loading for a cruise up river to St Paul, Minnesota.
