This old building served as a post office for many years and was finally replaced by a modern post office about 1/2 mile away. The building now serves as a museum that is open each Saturday from 10-2 and by appointment by calling (678)322-6967. There are many interesting things in this museum one of which is one of the original wanted posters for James Earl Ray, the assassin of Martin Luther King Jr.
There are lists of all the post masters of this post office and pictures and historical documents of the little town of Cassville.
