The Woodland Park off-leash park is a fenced area of a larger wooded park. It's a good place to go if your dogs have to take care of some much needed exercise and you are short on time. Otherwise a trip to Marymoor park in Redmond is more worthwhile.
Due to the wooded and sloping nature of the dog area you tend to see a lot more unsupervised dogs as most dog owners congregate at the top of the hill. As a result there are a lot more doggie bombs. Don't be surprised to see owners conveniently turn away from their dogs when they do their business. The expectation here is that the hills of mulch are there to cover up dog waste.
The "doggie fountain" is a nice feature at the top of the hill and there is always a dog bowl filled with water for your pet. There is, however, no water for your dog to play in. Also it isn't really a fetching park as it is too hilly.
