I love to watch the "Travel Channel" when they do shows on the best foods.
Somehow, Eddies Footlongs has been overlooked. Maybe through the miracle of Waymarking, more people will get to experience this Meadville Institution. Tucked back off a busy 4-lane highway, there is an oasis of summertime fare. Eddie & Winkie Johnson started business 61 years ago, and people have returned over & over. When "prodigal sons & daughters" return to town, there's two places they go - Hanks Frozen Custard & Eddies Footlongs.
Stop in and taste why for yourself.
My personal favorite is the chili, onions, and cheese dog.
