Long Description:
The Lynnwood
Public Library is located in Lynnwood, Washington. The library
is part of the Sno-Isle
Libraries system, which provdes library services to more than
half a million residents of Snohomish and Island Counties. The
library is the largest library in the Sno-Isle Libraries
system.
The library has a large collection of books, reference, music,
videos, and periodicals and offers a wide range of services
including computer and internet access. I use this library more
than any other since it's close to home and on my way home from
work. I search the Sno-Isle catalog on-line, place holds on items,
and then pick them up when they come in.
The library has a changing art collection inside and outside
sculptures including "Sinusoidal" by Ted Johnson.
The library was constructed in 1971 and expanded in 1984 and
again in 1999.
