It sits at the corner of NE 4th street and Monroe Ave. in the Renton Highlands.

On the other side of Monroe is Greenwood Memorial Park, the cemetery where Jimi Hendrix is buried. There had been just a headstone.  Those who were in the know would visit the headstone to pay their respects.  The caretakers were having to frequently replace the sod because of the volume of visitors.  In 2003, a memorial was built.  To read more about it, visit the Jimi Hendrix Memorial Project.

In the photo, I highlighted the memorial, but it's still difficult to see.  When we get a sunny day, I'll see if I can get a better photo.  Speaking of sunny days, on a clear day, Mt. Rainier can be seen from the cemetery. 

Across 4th street from this McDonald's is Renton Technical College.
