The city of Pittsburgh's Public Works Department is very vigilant on graffiti on its properties. They will coat with gray paint any graffiti that is visible from streets, roads, and by the general public. On some spots under the Bloomfield Bridge, the concrete walls and brick walls of an adjacent old-style factory are not visible from the public, and thus the graffiti there has remained untouched [from the Public Works cleaning crews]. What is to be found is about 50 meters of wall space that is richly covered with colorful graffiti.
Type of Surface: Bridge
