The Pittsburgh neighborhood of Bloomfield is known for its Italian-American community (was true, not anymore, as the true italians have moved to the suburbs or have died off). But the streets still have italian restaurants, italian flags, italian grocery stores.
True to its reputation, the bocce court in the public play area under the Bloomfield Bridge is the center of attention for serious bocce players in the city.
