The mission of the blood center is to provide a safe and adequate supply of blood to the patients we serve.
To achieve this mission, sixty to seventy donors are needed daily.

Established in 1950 the NCCBB is the Northcoast's non-profit community blood bank. We strive to meet the needs of 6 local hospitals and clinics and when possible share resources with the Blood Bank of the Redwoods in Santa Rosa, BloodSource in Sacramento and the Blood Center at Stanford University School of Medicine.
Whole blood, apheresis, therapeutic and autologous donations are performed at the Center at 2524 Harrision Ave, Eureka. Three Blood Mobiles are in the community from Garberville to Crescent city six days a week.
