Private home - Not opened to public at this time. The Louisiana Historical Marker states as follows

L'Hermitage
1812-1814
Greek revival mansion built by Marius Pons Bringier as a wedding gift for his son Michel Dourdou who named the house for General Andrew Jackson's home in Tennessee. The Jackson's visited here in the 1820's.
Historical marker TOTALLY obscured by large tall growing pointed plants. I included this photo so you can see condition I was faced with.
