Chatsworth, is a small south Jersey town with a lot of history. This siren was the best way to send the warnings throughout the thousands of acres that are Chatsworth.

The nearby town of Tabernacle still resorted to using the bell from the local church for it's air raid warnings when Chatsworth adopted the siren.
