Long Description:
Located just north of the entrance of Lakeside Cemetery is this Zinc Monument for the area's Civil War heroes.

The first side's text reads; Erected in honor of the soldiers from Holly, Rose, Groveland, Springfield who defended their country's flag from 1861 to 1865. By the Holly Women's Relief Corps.

The next side lists the names of thirty-six men. Followed by forty-six men on the third side and fourty-two on the fourth.
